The First Strike map pack will add four multiplayer maps, said to be called Berlin Wall, Discovery, Kowloon and Stadium. It is assumed that once the Xbox 360 exclusive release period is over that it will then become available for the PlayStation 3 and PC, as well. The map pack will be available first for the Xbox 360 platform for $15 (1,200 Microsoft Points) when it arrives.
Word is that the first map pack for Black Ops will be called First Strike and is currently slated for a February 1st release.ĭeveloper Treyarch confirmed that this was the plan recently to Xbox Live’s Larry “Major Nelson” Hryb in a recent interview. While everyone knows that map packs are coming for Call of Duty: Black Ops, details have been pretty limited on when they will arrive until now.
